Innocon was visited by engineering faculty teachers of the university of concepción

On August 23, the Engineering Faculty visited Innocon companies, the group was led by Rodrigo Bórquez, R&D Director of the Engineering Faculty of UdeC; along with academicians Alex Schwarz, from the Civil Engineering Department, and Óscar Valerio, from the Chemical Engineering Department.

Javier Waldron, Innocon Director, attended a meeting with a group of businessmen last July in which he invited Engineering departments to meet Innocon facilities located in Parque Industrial, Escuadrón 1, Coronel. In that meeting, the appointment was settled thanks to him.
“We are pretty impressed by the work they are doing, from instrumental analysis services, characterization and even product development, such as an organic paint (made of fish oil)”, said Rodrigo Bórquez.

Innocon is a private Center of Innovation and Development that aims to generate added value through products development and – as explained in its website www.innocon.cl – it is born under Setop Holding S.A, a Chilean investment group with over two decades of experience in the human and animal food industry, chemical industry, construction, mining and consulting, which operates in both national and international market.
In addition to being with Javier Waldron, Carlos Sepúlveda, Innocon General Manager, also joined the group during the visit and he showed to be open to work with the Engineering faculty of the University of Concepción in future projects.
